The project
RescueME is a Research Action funded by the Horizon Europe programme, focusing on enhancing the resilience of coastal cultural landscapes in Europe. RescueME mobilizes resources, engages stakeholders, facilitates decision making, and enhances the implementation of co-created and just resilience solutions to protect our common heritage.
What MEEO does
MEEO plays a supporting role to SISTEMA. It contributes its satellite data analysis expertise to defining the monitoring indicators (WP1) and to identifying and mapping Copernicus data (WP3), with 8 person-months in total. SISTEMA leads the monitoring of transformative pathways (WP1) and the technical specifications and data mapping (WP3). It integrates and supplies Copernicus and in-situ data, including the data used to train the hazard-mapping AI models. It also acts as Data Manager and is responsible for the Data Management Plan.
