MEEO believes in the value of the data democratization to support data driven innovations. We make easier the exploitation of the large amount of satellite and environmental data collected and generated by the current exponential growth of the space and the digital economy.
Life-long learning, training, knowledge creation, knowledge transfer and mindset continuous changing and adaptation is our way of working. Turning Earth Observation data into a commodity for citizens is our daily challenge.
MEEO, a decadal story of innovation.
Founded in Ferrara in 2004 by three atmospheric physicists, MEEO started working with the European Space Agency in 2006 becoming a permanent industrial partner for space-based data algorithm and services. MEEO has always worked to to support public and private entities to develop, implement and uptake Earth Observation data innovations. Big geospatial data enabling technologies, data driven services for research communities and economic sectors dealing with environmental data, are the tools we have developed to make our users happy. From air quality, climate, land use and marine environment, MEEO has supported dozens of initiatives, research projects, private companies in exploiting as much as possible the power of reliable, global environmental data.

Data technology is continuously evolving, and the exponential increase of available data poses unprecedented issues that need to be solved. MEEO opted to rule this evolution process instead of being a passive actor by implementing new innovative solutions for data exploitation and by supporting international
initiatives involved in the definition of the standards to make the data discoverable and interoperable.

MEEO implements data services to translate Earth Observation data into valuable information.
